Three CMS systems

My friend Dru has published great text comparing three CMS systems: Wordpress, Textpattern & Symphony.

I was talking to a friend about the state of publishing/CMS systems that are available on the internet now and though I never really thought about it before there really is an abundance of them! Anyway the result was that I’m now on a big testing spree of the numerous systems available and I’ve started with 2 popular ones, Textpattern and Wordpress and also my personal favourite, Symphony (I’ve tried not to be biased). From me i can say i use WordPress for all my websites because it has tonnes of plugins, themes are really easy to mod and it is safe. It has one big minus, slow speed of writing posts from 2.0 version and up. Also if you apply many plugins the speed of loading is falling down meaningly.
