Wordpress Plugins NOT To Install

There are many posts about favorites plugins but only one (that i know) about plugins that we shouldn’t install. Why author writes something like that, read this:

Over, the last couple of weeks I’ve had a few big traffic spikes that have caused my Wordpress installation problems. Upgrading to the next highest tier with PowerVPS didn’t solve the problem, and even despite having 2 caches running, my site was slowing down and even shutting down at times.

I discovered that the cause of my problems were certain plugins, and after removing them my CPU load returned to manageable levels. Unfortunately, not before I’d missed out on a significant number of new readers.

Those plugins are:

    Angsuman’s Translator Plugin Pro

    Gravatars

    Readers Posts Plugin

    Fancy Archives

    This is a great idea! There are so many plugins out there that offer cool functionality, but not too many people stop to think before installing them. There are probably a lot of plugins that have an overall negative affect on the web page or blog. Thanks for the post.

    Yes, i think so too. There are small info about this but some plugins can’t do negative for your blog.

    All the articles are piled on top of each other
