Re-Design Complete

Mundial has started so less time for me to work on this website. Also my redesign is 99% completed. I could work with it for another week, but i think it is grown design now. Only small details left to fix. So after one week of really hard work let me title this new design with 3.1 version number. I want to write here some words about my redesign. I think this can also be helped to other people with redesign their own websites.

With this redesign i want to say thanks to this people: big big thanks to TxepART , also thanks to Kavin, Keir and HG-Design. I didn’t forget about author of this original theme the undersigned.

Back to main topic, new design and the most importent thing, new colors. I search for optimal color pallete for a long time and find something called “wookie call“. I found this pallete at this page: colourlovers.com. Why i choose it ? For me the most importent reason when you choose a colors for your page template is contrast. So let see what we have here.

Condom heaven is a great color for the main part, smooth, very elegant. The color for the links that contrast with background is oRage . For the footer i know i need dark color so i choose wookie (i try the light colors but it was no good) with nice contrast for the text Solace in your voice. I also use on some hover links the last color from this pallete hairy love .

Now the graphics, well what more can i say, thanks goes to TxepART because he made them.

I rebuild CSS by myself. The whole CSS thing is not my big star, i have no professional skills, just a amateur attempt, but i think it come out very good.

The main change about the site is new tags system and some plugins that i switch off (and some on) like: WordPress Related Entries 2.0 and SimpleTags. The alternate is Ultimate Tag Warrior 3 and it works great. It makes the same thing as related entries and got some more unique and cool possibilities.

Plugins that i add are for example: Super Archive or Landing sites. Very important plugin is flash titles and sIFR with easy to install plugin: CG-FlashyTitles. I also test another plugin that makes titles as images, Image Headlines Plugin, but finally i go with flash.

It is hard to me to write all of the redesign details in this short text so i aim to the end of this story.

I also change a bit the static pages, add some more free icons, redesign the pages…. and much more but i am sure i forgot to mention about it here.
