Looking at my last AdSense problems with earnings i try to play with Google ads placement and write here my conclusions. From my last tests i have minded opinion about putting ads between the posts and put them in the down part of the website in the neighbourhood to navigation menu. IT IS NO GOOD. I put Large Rectangle Ad (336 x 280) without images after every second post and another 336 x 280 in the down part of website. I add this ads to two WordPress websites but it doesn’t work good. I have down 336 x 280 ads with images on other two websites where people navigate through many pages more often and it works better but still no good.
Remember to test advices on your own websites.
It work on one pages and doesn’t on another.
Putting images didn’t work too great for me as well. But overall it works better on some sites than others so it could be content dependent.
On a very technical oriented content like yours, most readers know what you are doing and they know Adsense from miles away.
On less technical blog, images does seem to work well.
Yee i try to play now with other part of my google ads. I try to delete the lowest eCPM ads. I try to make my eCMP better but still fighting with it.
I see your blog, is that theme you use is public, i want to change my layout to 3 column one but i didn’t find good one.

You know what, with nice header it could be nice. I don’t use K2 theme but maybe i will try with it. It can build a proffesional website with nice contest like i want it to be. Also the placement for ads is superb.
